Situation
A space tourism startup needs a create a hospitality offering built into and around a flight experience that can accommodate the impact of weather on launch windows.

Task
Create a transformative experience at a remote location that will prepare the guests for their flight, ensure comfort during, and provide the opportunity to reflect after. The experience must accommodate an uncertain flight date and flight path while delivering the highest level of hospitality throughout.
Action
We developed a five day experience with modular components that could be adapted based on weather forecasts with overlapping itineraries for multiple flights. Area program and schematic design for a luxury resort and flight facility were completed including site plans and renderings. Comprehensive operating plans, staffing model, operating pro formas, and development plans completed for securing investment.
Result
A technically and financially feasible plan, including the acquisition and development of real estate, that has been put on hold due to significant disruptions in the Helium market.
